Arteriors, a Dallas-based, founder-owned designer and supplier of decorative lighting fixtures, furniture and accessories, received an investment from Norwest Equity Partners.
The amount of the deal – closed on June 18, 2019 – was not disclosed. In conjunction with the investment, Tim Kuehl and Tony Armand, NEP Partners, will both join the Arteriors board of directors.
Hancock Capital Management and Bank of Ireland provided senior debt financing; and Norwest Mezzanine Partners provided subordinated debt financing.
The company intends to use the funds for expansion in product, market channels and geographies.
Founded in 1987 by Mark Moussa and led by Steve Davis, CEO, Arteriors is a multi-channel leading designer and supplier of premium branded lighting fixtures, furniture, wall décor and accessories, with support from the interior designer community.
Over the years, the company has built highly-skilled global network of artisanal factories and currently manages approximately 1,300 active SKUs.
It currently operates showrooms in Dallas, Los Angeles, London, and New York.
