Inbox Health, Inc., a New Haven, Conn.-based innovative digital health and fintech startup for medical billing companies to communicate and transact with patients, raised $1.87m in funding.
With this funding, Inbox Health closed out its $4.41M seed round. This round was led by Connecticut Innovations, with participation from Metropolis Ventures, I2BF Global Ventures, and StartUp Health, alongside several notable angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale sales and marketing, and invest in engineering to broaden the integration with the billing companies’ ecosystems and enhance the functionality of its platform.
Led by Blake Walker, Chief Executive Officer, Inbox Health provides a comprehensive patient communication platform to medical billing companies allowing them to manage patient receivables. The company analyzes data on millions of patients to personalize each patient’s billing experience, and automating the patient billing and the follow-up communication process from there.
The platform reaches in excess of a thousand practices, and 4 million patients across the US, with more than $700 million of healthcare spending under management.
