Zyper, a London, UK- and NYC-based marketing platform that connects brands with their top fans, raised $6.5m in Series A funding.
The round, which brings Zyper’s total funding to date to $8.5m, was led by Talis Capital, with participation from Forerunner Ventures and Y Combinator.
The company intends to use the funds to open offices in San Francisco and continue to develop its predictive analytics engine and recommendation system algorithms.
Founded by Amber Atherton, Zyper is a machine learning-led community marketing software that enables brands to identify and engage with their top 1% of fans and build a community of active brand advocates in return for various rewards and experiences.
Zyper works over 50 brands including Banana Republic, Coty, Nestlé and Topshop.
