Crosschq Raises $4.1M in Seed Funding

crosschq-logoCrosschq, a San Francisco, CA-based provider cloud-based, people-powered hiring solutions, raised $4.1m in seed funding.

The round was led by GGV Capital, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and new individual investors Kevin Hartz (co-founder of Eventbrite) and Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors).

The company intends to use the funds for continued growth and investments in product and marketing, with plans to double its headcount by the end of the year.

Founded in 2018 and led by Mike Fitzsimmons, CEO, Crosschq is advancing Human Intelligence Hiring™, which harnesses people to allow companies to screen, onboard and source the best talent. The technology gathers direct insights from people, for people and transforms those insights into predictive data that helps ensure the right job match between talent and a company while minimizing bias and protecting privacy.
The company formally launched the platform in June 2019 and has been working with more than 25 customers, including Eventbrite, NerdWallet and Dialpad to date.
