Deltek, a Herndon, Va.-based provider of software and solutions for project-based businesses, is to acquire ComputerEase, a Cincinnati, OH-based provider of construction accounting, project management, and field management software for contractors.
The amount of the deal – conditioned upon the satisfaction of customary closing conditions with close expected in the third quarter of 2019, was not disclosed.
With this acquisition, Deltek will add ComputerEase’s construction tools to its portfolio of solutions for architects, engineers and construction firms (AEC).
Founded in 1983 Bob Mattlin and led by President John Meibers, ComputerEase provides over 6,000 contractors in North America with integrated construction solutions, offered on-premise or in the cloud, to streamline every aspect of their businesses.
The company’s software features job costing, construction accounting, project management, field management and other add-ons, including fleet and asset management, as well as certified payroll.
