SPS Commerce Buys Mapadoc

spsSPS Commerce, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPSC), a Minneapolis-based provider of retail cloud services, acqured the Mapadoc business, an operating unit of SWK Technologies, Inc. and a provider of EDI System Automation solutions for the Sage and Acumatica markets.

The acquisition amounts to $11.5m in cash.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition expands SPS Commerce’s Sage and Acumatica leadership in full-service EDI for suppliers and their trading partners. As part of the SPS Commerce community, Mapadoc customers will have access to a broad retail trading network, ERP, e-commerce and logistics applications, global supply chain partners, and opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Led by Archie Black, President and CEO, SPS Commerce SPS provides a retail cloud services platform for trading partner relationships. Its cloud-based supply chain management solutions provide proven integrations and comprehensive retail performance analytics to thousands of customers worldwide.

SPS Commerce expects the acquisition to contribute approximately $2 million in revenue and approximately $1 million in Adjusted EBITDA in fiscal year 2020.
