75F Inc., a Burnsville, Minn.-based provider of wireless building automation solutions for commercial buildings, completed an $18M Series A round of financing.
The round was co-led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Climate Initiative with participation from Building Ventures, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, and Clean Energy Trust.
The company, which has raised a total of $25M to date, intends to use the funds to scale operations, invest in R&D, upgrade office locations and strengthen its partner network across North America, APAC, Middle East, China, and Australia.
Founded in 2012 and led by Deepinder Singh, CEO, 75F leverages IoT, Cloud Compute and Machine Learning for data-driven, proactive building intelligence and controls for HVAC, lighting and energy optimization.
Its vertically-integrated smart building solution includes wireless sensors, equipment controllers and cloud-based software to deliver predictive, proactive building automation, energy savings, improved air quality, Return on Investment (ROI), weather forecasting and self-optimization. The HVAC solution begins learning the behavior of a building from the moment it is installed offering energy savings without sacrificing comfort.
