Celera, a San Jose, CA-based AI-based software automation platform for chip development, raised $3M in seed funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to develop and commercialize a new AI-based software automation platform.
Founded in 2018, Celera has developed an AI-based software platform for automated custom Analog/Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuit (AMSIC) development improving R&D efficiency.
Its fully automated AMSIC development platform frees the industry by enabling existing opportunities to be captured with less development investment and opens up a vast array of newly viable opportunities for custom AMSIC development in many end markets. Additionally, the platform will empower non-semiconductor experts to define, create and realize their own custom AMSIC’s skipping the huge investments and risk previously required.
Led by Abid Hussain, Co-Founder and CEO, Celera is currently engaged with several partners in the chip industry and delivering production IC designs.
