eComchain, a Frisco, TX-based provider of a SaaS-based platform hosting a wide variety of online stores, acquired Omnisling, an Indian Point-of-Sale system known for its wide range of omni-channel features.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With this acquisition, eComchain will be able to offer POS features on top of its B2B2C model to all its customers around the globe.
A spinoff from Frisco based technology leader iBizSoft Inc., eComchain is an ecommerce cloud-platform hosting a wide variety of online stores for 12 business verticals such as clothing, home essentials, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and many such organizations.
The company has now absorbed most of the employees that were working for Omnisling to enable it to take on larger operations and transactions. The organization structure will remain the same and there will be no change in the roles of the top officials as well.
