Idera, Inc., the Houston-based parent company of global B2B software productivity brands, is to acquire the software assets and related entities of WhereScape Software, a Portland, OR-based provider of data infrastructure automation software.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
WhereScape will join Idera, Inc.’s Database Tools business unit that includes IDERA, AquaFold, and Webyog, expanding the company’s cross-platform database solutions.
WhereScape provides end-to-end tooling solutions used by more than 700 customers to design, develop, deploy, and operate data infrastructure projects, both on-premises and in the cloud. The company has offices in Portland, Oregon; Reading, UK; Auckland, New Zealand; and Singapore.
Led by Randy Jacops, CEO, Idera delivers B2B software productivity tools for technical users. Brands span three divisions – Database Tools, Developer Tools, and Testing Tools – used by more than 50,000 customers worldwide, including some of the world’s largest healthcare, financial services, retail and technology companies.
