Superside (formerly known as Konsus), a Palo Alto, Calif.–based always-on design company that delivers top quality creative projects at scale to enterprise teams, raised $3.5M in funding.
The round was led by Freestyle Capital, with participation from High Alpha Ventures, Y Combinator, and Alliance Ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to build its team of designers, invest in new products and scale its automation platform.

Its automated system combines design workflow technology with verified talent, and a fully-managed process for customers that includes everything from staffing and sourcing, to project management, and invoice tracking, as well as 360-evaluations.
Virtual teams can be auto assembled for projects within minutes, including a dedicated project manager who works with designers directly, and ensures high-quality work for any creative project delivered on time. Subscription customers also get a dedicated design team and art director in addition to a project manager so there’s a higher degree of accountability and responsiveness.
Designers, currently located all around the world spanning 58 countries and 19 timezones, have already executed on projects and campaigns for 3,000+ brands to date, with 60% of customers on a recurring subscription basis.
