Benevity Raises $40M in Series C Funding

benevityBenevity, Inc., a Calgary, Canada-based provider of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employee engagement software platform, raised $40M in Series C funding.

Backers included General Atlantic and JMI Equity.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to further accelerate client and cause support services and product innovation, including the development of more mobile solutions and enhanced public-facing engagement capabilities, as well as additional expansion of the team.

Led by Bryan de Lottinville, Founder and CEO, Benevity is a certified B Corporation that provides corporate social responsibility and employee engagement software, including online giving, matching, volunteering, community investment and purpose driven actions.
Many iconic brands use the company’s cloud solutions to power corporate “Goodness” programs that attract, retain and engage today’s diverse workforce by connecting people to the causes that matter to them.
The software is available in 17 languages to an employee base of 12 million users around the world.

The company has just over 600 employees and plans to fill an additional 200 full-time technology, sales, client success and other operational positions over the next year.
