Latent AI, a Menlo Park, CA- and Skillman, NJ-based AI processing company, raised $3.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Future Ventures.
Led by Jags Kandasamy, Co-Founder and CEO, and Sek Chai, Co-Founder and CTO, Latent AI is dedicated to building solutions that enable the adaptive edge to transform AI processing. Its platform provides a modular, fully-integrated workflow platform designed to train, quantize and deploy edge AI neural networks.
The mudules include:
- LEIP Compress, a quantization optimizer that supports both post training and training aware quantization, and
- LEIP Compile, which optimizes neural network processing for hardware processor targets.
Latent AI is a portfolio company of SRI Ventures, a division of SRI International.
SRI Ventures is an early-stage investor, which includes the investment team of Raghu Madabushi and Jennifer Wu, and develops and capitalizes on breakthrough – or deep – technologies. It has launched over 60 ventures with a total market capitalization exceeding $20 billion.
