Tier Mobility, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of micro-mobility solutions, raised US$60m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Mubadala Capital and Goodwater Capital, with participation from AXA Germany, Evli Growth Partners, White Star Capital, Northzone, Speedinvest, Point9, Indico, Kibo Ventures, Market One Capital and business angels like Nico Rosberg.
The company will use funds to accelerate its European expansion strategy and continue to build the micro-mobility platform for citizens, city authorities and public transportation partners.
Founded by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin, Tier Mobility provides shared micro-mobility services in 40+ cities across 12 markets worldwide relieving them from emissions and congestion.
The company currently employs over 350 people.
