2ndKitchen, a Chicago, IL-based startup for bars, breweries and hotels to provide on-demand food service, raised an additional $3m, completing its seed funding round at $4.35m.
The round was led by Hyde Park Venture Partners with participation from MATH Venture Partners, Great North Labs, Bragiel Brothers, and M25.
The company will use the funds to continue its expansion across the U.S., and pursue new business categories beyond bars, breweries, and hotels.
Led by Nick Anastasiades, CEO, 2ndKitchen is a food tech startup that provides new way for bars, breweries and hotels to provide branded on-demand food service without operating and maintaining a kitchen.
The company matches businesses with restaurants in their neighborhood and works with them to create a custom-branded menu with curated food selections.
Customers can order from either the 2ndKitchen kiosk or web app to have meals delivered right to their table.
Since graduating from Techstars and launching in 2018, 2ndKitchen has expanded its service nationwide and tripled its headcount.
