Quartic.ai, a Toronto, Ontario, and San Jose, CA-based industrial AI and IIoT software provider, completed a $5m Series A financing.
The round was led by WRVI Capital, with participation from private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate deployment of its Industry 4.0 technology and serve a larger customer base.
Led by Rajiv Anand, CEO, Quartic.ai provides process manufacturing users and engineers to develop and deploy their own AI and IIoT-based solutions using their subject matter expertise, without the need for a formal data science or coding background. .
The platform, which has been deployed to modernize legacy automation to Industry 4.0 architecture in process manufacturing applications such as pharmaceuticals, mineral processing, and petrochemicals, consists of two main components:
– the illuminator™, an industrial OT data pipeline, and
– eXponence™, an automated machine learning, contextual analytics and complex event processing engine.
The company also has a development centre in Bengaluru, India.
