Wefox, a Berlin, Germany-based insurtech platform, raised $110m in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the pre-money valuation to $1.65 billion, was led by Omers Ventures with participation from Merian Chrysalis and Samsung Catalyst Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach in Europe.
founded in 2015 by Julian Teicke, Dario Fazlic, Fabian Wesemann and Teodoro Martino, Wefox operates two businesses:
– wefox, a platform that connects insurance companies to brokers that manage and consult their customers completely digital. Wefox currently features more than 300 insurance companies on the marketplace and serves more than 450.000 consumers.
– ONE Insurance, a digital European insurance company.
The company is active in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, and in Italy.
