eGoGames, a Madrid, Spain-based creator of an esports platform for mobile devices, closed a €3M Series B funding round.
The round was led by the president of Société Générale Group, Donato González, the president of Gestamp, Francisco Riberas, and Jaime Martín Laborda, founding partner and CEO of Millennial Gaming.
The company intends to use the funds to optimize its algorithm with the use of Artificial Intelligence, in order to create competitions that have the ability to adapt to the player and improve their user experience and focus their efforts on the B2B business.
Founded by Alejandro Sáez and Baldomero Sánchez, eGogames provides an esports platform for mobile devices that offers any user the possibility of competing for free, for prizes or professionally for money, making mobile gamers athletes of esports. The patented algorithm allows matching gamers according to their ability and ensuring matched competitions. eGoGames services 10 games and will soon launch more converts to esports from the leading video game developers. It has already patented its algorithm in more than 140 countries.
