Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) completed the acquisition of the robotic SI business mainly operated by JR Automation Technologies, LLC , from funds managed by Crestview Partners.
The amount of the deal, announced on April 23, 2019, was $1.425 billion
The new partnership will provide customers with a single-source vendor, combining JR Automation’s expertise in robotic systems integration with Hitachi’s deep skill sets in digital technology and IIoT solutions for manufacturing and distribution.
