Slope Software, an Atlanta, GA-based insurtech startup aiming to modernize actuarial software, raised $1m in seed funding.
The round was led by Cofounders Capital in Cary, NC. In conjunction with the funding, Tim McLoughlin, Partner at Cofounders Capital, will join the Board of Directors.
The company will use the funding to scale the growth of its software platform, which launched early last year.
Led by CEO Andy Smith and CTO Taylor Perkins, Slope is a software as a service company providing an actuarial modeling platform that optimizes and streamlines operations for insurance companies and consultants working in the actuarial space by enabling their actuaries to do analysis in less time.
