Stoplight, an Austin, Texas-based enterprise API Design Management company, raised $6M in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $10m, was co-led by Next Coast Ventures and Bill Wood Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to increase engineering efforts, accelerating its product roadmap and covering more customer use cases.
Led by CEO Marc Macleod, Stoplight provides an API Design Management software platform that covers the entire pre-production API life cycle offering a means for design-first microservice application development. The company’s products help organize and manage more than 22,000 APIs. Customers include companies in the Fortune 1000.
