Ubeya, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based workforce management platform, raised $3.5m in funding.

The round, which brought total amount raised to date to $5M, was led by ICV VC with participation from Cornerstone, a global people development company.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach.

Launched in 2017 by Omri Dekalo, CEO, Ubeya provides a workforce management platform designed for companies that use hourly staff at the core of their operation. For this type of business, it can be extremely challenging to manage or oversee the performance of a disperse event-based workforce. The platform connects all parties, helping businesses book, track, monitor and reward their hourly staff.

The platform is already used by hundreds of businesses ā€“ including event venues, catering companies, hospitality organizations, staffing agencies, stadiums, promotional businesses and retailers – across the U.S. and Europe to source, schedule, manage and pay gig workers.
