2hire, a Rome, Italy-based smart mobility solutions company, raised €5.6m in venture capital funding.
The round was led by P101 SGR via Programma 102 (€3.9m) with participation from Linkem (€400k), and existing investor Invitalia Ventures, LVenture Group and Boost Heroes.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Founded in 2017 by Filippo Agostino, Matteo Filippi, Andrea Verdelocco and Elisabetta Mari, and accelerated within LUISS EnLabs, 2hire makes solutions for intelligent mobility which allow vehicles (such as cars, bikes, scooters, e-scooters, etc.) to be connected, enabling remote controlling through smartphones. The company’s Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform allows rent-a-car companies, and sharing companies to monitor, manage and update services connected with their auto parks.
2hire already connects over 10k vehicles globally, from Europe and South America. Clients include renting and sharing companies, among others.
