Digital River, a Minneapolis-based global ecommerce enabler for established and fast-growing brands, raised a total of $50m in incremental funding.
The round was led by Siris Capital Group, with participation from several of existing co-investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its transition into a premier provider of API-based global ecommerce solutions, support acquisition opportunities and continue building its partner ecosystem, offering a fully integrated solution for brands to manage and fulfill orders across a multitude of commerce and digital experience platforms.
Led by Adam Coyle, CEO, Digital River provides brands with API-powered solutions to sell direct to their customers, whether they live around the corner or around the world. Its modular platform manages orders and fulfilment, processes payments, mitigates fraud, and handles taxes and compliance on brands’ behalf.
The company has offices across the U.S., Asia, Europe and South America.
