FogHorn Raises $25M in Series C Funding

FogHorn, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of intelligence edge computing software for industrial and commercial IoT application solutions, closed $25m in series C round of funding.

The round – which brought total funding raised to date to $72.5m – was led by LS Corp., with participaiton from Forte Ventures and existing investors Dell Technologies Capital, Intel Capital, Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, Honeywell Ventures, GE Ventures, Robert Bosch Venture Capital, March Capital Partners and Darling Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to scale and invest in continued product innovation.

Led by David C. King, CEO, John Neville, Chief Revenue Officer, and Senthil Kumar, VP of Engineering, FogHorn is a developer of intelligence edge computing software for industrial and commercial IoT application solutions. Its software platform brings advanced analytics and machine learning to on-premises edge environment enabling a new class of applications for advanced monitoring and diagnostics, machine performance optimization, proactive maintenance and operational intelligence use cases. The technology is ideally suited for OEMs, systems integrators and end customers in manufacturing, power and water, oil and gas, renewable energy, mining, transportation, healthcare, retail, as well as smart grid, smart city, smart building and connected vehicle applications.
