Hprobe, a Grenoble, France-based provider of semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for magnetic devices, closed an over €2m in funding.
The round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds with participation from ITIC, a Taiwanese venture capital firm, subsidiary of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and TEL Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for international development in the field of spintronics based devices testing, such as MRAMs (Magnetic Random Access Memories), BNP Paribas Développement, and TMR (Tunnel Magneto Resistance) sensors.
Founded in March 2017 by Laurent Lebrun, CEO, Hprobe is a spin-off company of SPINTEC (one of the leading spintronics research laboratories worldwide) which markets equipment for wafer level testing of magnetic devices in the semiconductor industry.
