BucksApp, a Miami, Florida-based fintech startup focused on students, launched with $2M in funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
Led by Sebastian Romero*, Founder and CEO, BucksApp provides university or college students with a mobile application featuring cash advances to students to build their credit. The app offers an instantaneous mechanism of cash advances of up to 200 US dollars.
After a student downloads the app, registers and applies, which takes a few minutes, BucksApp makes a quick approval decision and delivers money to the student’s bank account in the shortest possible time.
* Romero is 24 years old and a recent graduate in Business Management from Babson College, Massachusetts.
