Proptech Startup Apsiyon Raises $5M in Funding

Apsiyon , an Istanbul, Turkey-based proptech startup, raised $5m in funding.

The round was led by Earlybird VC’s Digital East Fund with participation from angel investor Jak Baruh.

The company intends to use the capital to expand internationally in the Middle East and in Europe, starting with UK, Germany, and Spain, make regional acquisitions, and grow its development efforts.

Founded in 2012 and led by CEO Kudret Turk, CPO Erkan Dogan, and CTO Meriç Akdamar, Apsiyon provides a cloud based software platform which allows both property managers and tenants to manage rent payment, room reservation, energy monitoring, community networking, food delivery, and other tasks, digitally. The system also integrates concierge services and e-commerce loyalty programs.

The company currently serves customers in Ukraine, Macedonia, Cyprus, and Azerbaijan and employs approx. 100 people.
