ManyChat, a San Francisco, CA-based Chat Marketing platform, acquired Converlytics, a provider of tools to enable businesses to track, analyze, and quantify valuable attribution analytics connecting Facebook Messenger to Shopify.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will allow ManyChat to bring analytics to eCommerce customers to run smart omni-channel campaigns that maximize return on advertising spends. Commenting on the deal, founder and CEO Dillon Ceglio, Converlytics, said: “I’m thrilled to share this technology with the millions of ManyChat users around the globe and to help other e-commerce business owners like me.“
Ceglio will continue to work with ManyChat as an e-commerce and Data Analytics Consultant.
