Dathena, a Singapore-based deep-tech company, closed a $12m Series A funding round.
The round was led by Jungle Ventures, with participation from CapHorn and SEEDS Capital, and existing investors Cerracap Ventures and MS&AD Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Christopher Muffat, founder and CEO, Dathena provides AI-powered data protection and privacy management solutions for global enterprises to identify, classify, and protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance. The company has more than 200,000 users and a multitude of enterprise clients worldwide in fields such as financial services, healthcare, and defense.
Founded in 2016, the company employs more than 100 people in Singapore, Geneva, Paris, and New York City.
