PXL Vision, a Zurich, Switzerland-based artificial intelligence powered identity fraud platform provider, raised CHF4.6M (USD 4.7m) in seed financing.
The round was led by SIX Fintech Ventures with participation from ZKB, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Arab Bank and the experienced business angels Beat Schillig and David Studer.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its product portfolio and enter new markets and industries.
Co-founded in 2017 by Nevena Shamoska, Roxana Porada, Lucas Sommer, Karim Nemr, Michael Born, PXL Vision AG is a high-tech spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) which offers solutions to autonomize and improve identity verification and customer onboarding through automated software solutions, based on the latest developments in computer vision and machine learning. The company also has R&D centers in Novi Sad, Serbia, and Yerevan, Armenia.
