Aptean, an Alpharetta, Ga.-based provider of mission-critical, industry-specific enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain solutions, received a strategic growth investment from funds affiliated with Charlesbank Capital Partners.
The amount of the deal – expected to close in the third quarter of 2020, pending customary regulatory approval – was not disclosed. Charlesbank will join existing investors TA Associates, which will also make a further investment in Aptean, and Vista Equity Partners as institutional shareholders.
The funding provides additional capital that will enable the company to increase its investment in innovation and accelerate its global growth.
