Summit Partners closed on a growth funding round in CoderPad, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform for assessing technical skills.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate hiring and continued expansion.
Launched in 2013 and led by Amanda Richardson, CEO, CoderPad provides remote technical interview solutions via a collaborative programming environment that allows hiring organizations to assess technical skills of candidates. With built-in video conferencing, the interview session is recorded for review by other hiring managers. It supports more than 30 programming languages for use during the interview process. The company serves over 1,700 customers, from startup organizations to some of the world’s largest technology employers, including Dropbox, Lyft, Spotify and Quora.
