Uptycs, a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of an SQL-powered security analytics platform, raised $30M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $43m, was led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from existing investors Comcast Ventures and ForgePoint Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Jai Das, Managing Director and President at Sapphire Ventures, will join Uptycs’ board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO and Founder Ganesh Pai, Uptycs provides a SaaS and on-prem SQL-powered security analytics platform for security analysts, site reliability engineers, incident response teams and IT professionals to observe and secure their productivity endpoints (macOS, Windows), server endpoints (Linux, containers) and cloud providers. A growing number of enterprises are using Uptycs for comprehensive security visibility at scale. Common use cases include fleet visibility, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, audit, and compliance for their laptops, servers and cloud workloads.
