3DLOOK, a San Mateo, CA-based AI-first technology company that digitizes human body data to bring fit and sizing intelligence to the apparel industry, raised $1M in a pre-series A funding.
The round was led by ICU Ventures.
The funding will be used to scale its R&D team and support its list of customers who need contactless measurement solutions to run their businesses. The company plans to raise a Series A round early next year. The team raised a total of $4.2M to date from Boost VC, 500 Startups, U Ventures, Solid5 and model Natalia Vodianova.
Founded in 2016 and led by Vadim Rogovskiy, CEO, 3DLOOK is a creator of a mobile body scanning technology that uses a patented combination of computer vision, neural networks, and 3D statistical modeling to generate a 3D avatar and more than 70 points of measure from two photos in under 30 seconds. The company has recently deployed the solution in over 200 stores of a major multi-billion retailer in the USA and plans to deploy in +1000 more within a month.
Overall, 3DLOOK works with more than 25 fashion and uniform companies around the world.
