Liftit, Inc., a Bogota, Colombia-based technology platform automating and executing last-mile truck deliveries across Latin America, raised $22.5m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Cambridge Capital, with participation from IFC, monashees, Jaguar Ventures, NXTP Ventures and other investors. In conjunction with the investment, Cambridge Capital’s Ben Gordon and Matt Smalley, as well as Ed Feitzinger, the former VP of Global Logistics at Amazon, have joined Liftit’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance capabilities to automate the last-mile transportation and delivery of goods across Latin America and continue to develop its technology to digitize last-mile logistics in the region.

Founded in January 2017 and led by Brian York, CEO, Liftit is a technology platform automating and executing last-mile truck deliveries across Latin America. Its integrated transportation management platform is used by shippers in Latin America to optimize their truck delivery operations. In addition to its technology used by shippers, the company also leverages a network of entrepreneurial owner-operator truck drivers to execute deliveries. The company has 300+ employees, and currently operates in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Ecuador. Customers include Walmart, Pepsi and Grupo Bimbo.
