Tapas Capital To Raise Second Venture Capital Fund

Tapas Capital, a Bellevue, WA-based early-stage venture capital firm, is currently raising its second venture fund.

Founded in 2018 and led by Rob Eldridge, Managing Partner, Tapas Capital which has invested into more than a dozen companies alongside high-quality co-investors, including among others: Khosla Ventures, Village Global, Liquid 2 Ventures, Alexa Fund, Madrona Venture Group and YCombinator.

Follow-on financing rounds into Tapas’ portfolio companies have come from Google Ventures, Initialized Capital, and PayPal Ventures.

The firm recently was the lead investor in Market Wagon’s (Carmel, IN) $1m Seed financing round. It has also invested in six companies in 2020 including Fernish (Los Angeles, CA), Give InKind (Tacoma, WA), PostHog (San Francisco, CA) and Vega Cloud (Liberty Lake, WA).

Tapas also announced that Greg Greeley, formerly President of Airbnb and Vice President of Amazon Prime, will join as an Advisor.
