Collegis Education, a Chicago, IL-based higher education managed services provider, acquired Education Management Solutions, the leader in higher education and medical simulation learning management technology.

The acquisition brings together innovative education technology services with learning technology products and provides technology solutions for higher education and health care institutions to grow in the marketplace. Together, Collegis and EMS support complete technology ecosystems spanning all aspects of higher education. Both companies continue normal day-to-day operations. Products and services will be managed out of the Collegis offices in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Orlando, Fla., as well as the EMS location in Exton, Penn.
