Cred.ai, a Philadelphia, Pa.-based fintech startup, raised over $18m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Darco Capital with participation from individual investors, including Tim Armstrong. It is also backed by Fanatics executive chairman Michael Rubin, and John Legend, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Ry Brown and co-founder David Adelman, cred.ai provides a credit card product that offers no fees, no interest, customizable settings, credit optimization, self-destructing account numbers, and spending on future paychecks.
