One Year No Beer, a UK-based provider of a community and behavioural change platform focused on drinking habits, closed a £1.75m funding round.
The company, which raised the funds on Seedrs from over 500 investors, intends to use the capital to further develop the technology infrastructure of the business, to scale their lifestyle support system which facilitates sustained behavioural changes, through community and connection.
Launched as a free service in 2015 by Ruari Fairbairns, One Year No Beer provides a behaviour change programme and online toolkit to help people change their relationship with alcohol. The company is also developing the technology that will enable members to connect over their common goals, such as caffeine, sugar, gambling, social media. Now, it has over 70,000 members across 90 countries.
