OnSite Waste Technologies, a Newport Beach, CA-based innovator in immediate sterilization of medical waste, closed a $3.5m Series A funding round.
OnSite has now raised a total of $8.5 million in capital, which has helped contribute to a 500%, quarter-over-quarter growth rate for the company.
The round was led by Mark IV Capital.
The company intends to use the capital to scale, build inventory and distribute its immediate sterilization desktop unit.
Led by CEO Brad Barnes, OnSite provides the TE-5000 immediate sterilization unit, which treats bio-medical waste, such as PPE, Sharps and Red-Bag Waste, by heating it to 350-400 degrees for 90 minutes, ensuring all bacteria, spores and viruses – such as COVID-19 – are completely destroyed and able to be disposed of in your everyday trashcan.
It is currently deployed in 27 different types of medical facilities across 41 states and counting.
