Forethought, a San Francisco, CA-based AI and Machine Learning platform for the enterprise, raised $17m in Series B funding.
Backers included Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s Sound Ventures, Neo, Geodesic Capital, Operator Collective and angels Sean “Diddy” Combs, LL COOL J, and Qualtrics CEO Ryan Smith, and existing investors K9 Ventures, Kelvin Beachum, and Original Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and irs business reach.
Led by Deon Nicholas, co-founder and CEO, Forethought aims to develop AI and Machine Learning solutions to tackle the most challenging and costly areas in every enterprise. Its Agatha is an AI solution for customer support teams. It learns from internal documents, email, chat and old support tickets to automatically resolve the auto-route tickets correctly, and quickly surface the most relevant institutional knowledge.
