Avenue 8, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile-first residential real estate brokerage built for modern agents, raised $4m in seed funding.
The round was led by Craft Ventures, Zigg Capital, and Good Friends, the early-stage fund from the founders of Warby Parker, Harry’s, and Allbirds that invests in businesses with a consumer lens.
The company intends to use the funds to for further platform development and expansion into New York and other major markets.
Led by Justin Fichelson, Co-founder and CEO, Avenue 8 provides a subscription-based digital real estate platform for agents to spend more time with buyers and advocate for clients’ interests. With a user interface, the solution supports agents across the entire transaction lifecycle, from valuation analysis to omni-channel marketing support and digital closings.
After a beta rollout in the San Francisco Bay Area and greater Los Angeles markets, the companyu plans to expand nationwide.
Current features include:
- tools to integrates directly with multiple MLS data feeds to generate real-time market insights, including Comparative Market Analyses, which agents receive through the platform, delivered in a beautiful, responsive design.
- Marketing automation tools supporting agents across asset creation, distribution and optimization to make their omni-channel marketing investments efficient and impactful.
- access to a vetted team of designers and vendors that manage the staging and renovation process from end-to-end, with no upfront cost – sellers only pay for these services once their home is sold.
