Luxtripper, a UK-based luxury travel business, closed its latest funding round at £1.2m.
Backers included high-net worth individuals and former travel executives. The latest round brings total investment in the business to £3.1m since 2015.
The company intends to use the funds to double its destination offering over the next three years, further develop its proprietary technology platform and hire for roles across the business.
Set up in 2015 by founder and CEO Nena Chaletzos and also led by Roger Flynn, Chair, Luxtripper provides a technology platform that matches customers to luxury destinations and creates multi-destination itineraries, tailored to customer requirements and allowing the team of travel experts to deliver a more bespoke service.
From launch, Luxtripper has delivered annual revenue growth of over 100%, with sales in the year to March 2020 reached £7m.
