Paradox, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based conversational AI platform for global talent acquisition teams to automate recruiting tasks like screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications, acquired Spetz.io, an Israeli startup enabling clients to modernize candidate communications.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Paradox will build an R&D center in EMEA.
Launched in late 2016 by CEO Aaron Matos, Paradox is a Conversational AI company serving some of the world’s largest employers, including Unilever, McDonald’s, CVS Health, PepsiCo, and Aramark. Olivia, the company’s conversational AI assistant, allows talent acquisition teams to automate tasks like screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and more.
Founded in Tel Aviv in 2017 by Yam Dvir, CEO, Spetz provides a messaging platform for companies like Sodastream and IKEA to engage candidates via messaging apps like WhatsApp with simpleautomated chat.
