Aviatrix, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based cloud network platform, raised $75m in Series D funding.
The round, which brings total financing to $151m, was led by General Catalyst with participation from new investors Greenspring Associates, Meritech Capital, and TrueBridge Capital Partners and existing investors CRV, Formation 8, Ignition, and Liberty Global Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Quentin Clark from General Catalyst will be joining the company’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale sales, partner channels, customer support, and product development organizations.
Led by Steve Mullaney, CEO, Aviatrix provides a cloud network platform that delivers advanced networking, security and operational visibility. More than 400 customers worldwide use it to design, deploy and operate a repeatable network and security architecture that is consistent across any public cloud.
