Fort Robotics, a Philadelphia, PA-based pure-play technology company creating safety-and-security solutions for autonomous machines, closed on $13m in funding.
The round was led by Prime Movers Lab with participation from Prologis Ventures, Quiet Capital, Lemnos Labs, Creative Ventures, Ahoy Capital, Compound, FundersClub, and Mark Cuban.
The company intends to use the funds to more than double the size of its workforce and expand its product offerings in key markets.
Founded in 2018 by CEO Samuel Reeves, Fort Robotics is building a safety and security platform for smart machines in a variety of industries, including warehousing, construction, agriculture and manufacturing.
The company served more than 100 clients, including dozens of Fortune 1,000 companies.
