FutureFuel.io, a San Francisco, CA-based student loan repayment platform, raised $10m in Series A1 funding.
The round, which brought total Series A funding to $21.6M, was led by UBS, with participation from new investor Aflac Ventures, and existing investors Fiserv, and Salesforce Ventures and previous investors Rethink Impact, Vulcan Capital, Breton, SixThirty, and the Impact Engine.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product adoption across employers, recordkeepers, and financial services partners as demand continues to surge.
Led by Laurel Taylor, CEO and Founder, FutureFuel.io offers a technology platform addressing the full spectrum of student debt management and repayment needs of American borrowers. Personalized tools measure the impact of actions on the quantity and duration of debt repayment.
The company has already signed partnerships with global corporate leaders like UBS, which provides student debt solutions to its corporate clients and their respective employees.
