Omega Healthcare Investors Acquires Connected Living

Hunt Valley, MD-based Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (NYSE: OHI) acquired Connected Living, a provider of a technology platform that enables communication and connection for today’s aging adult communities.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. 

Led by Sarah Hoit, CEO, Connected Living provides innovative technology solutions and services “that inspire an aging population to connect, contribute, and live each day to its fullest.” It is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Omega.

Led by Taylor Pickett, Chief Executive Officer, Omega is a real estate investment trust that invests in the long-term healthcare industry, primarily in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities which are certified medical professional powered. Its portfolio of assets is operated by a diverse group of healthcare companies spanning all regions within the US, as well as in the UK.
