Secureframe, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a platform to get enterprise ready with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, raised $18M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Kleiner Perkins with participation from existing investors Gradient Ventures, Base10 Partners, BoxGroup, Village Global, Soma Capital, Origin Capital, and Backend Capital, and alongside operators such as Gokul Rajaram (Doordash), Leore Avidar (Lob CEO), Charley Ma (Alloy), Sam Blond (Brex CRO), Webb Stevens (Carta CPO), Bharat Mediratta (Dropbox CTO), Waseem Daher (Pilot CEO), Jeff Arnold (Pilot COO), Todd Goldberg (Eventjoy) and Rahul Vohra (Superhuman), Brianne Kimmel, Nathaniel Harley (Mantl), and dozens more.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate hiring, expand to new security standards, and build more products.
Led by Shrav Mehta, CEO, and Natasja Nielsen, CTO, Secureframe provides companies with a platform to allow companies to get SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliant by monitoring 40+ services, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Customers include companies such as Hasura, UnitQ, Instabase, and hundreds more.
